Terms of Use

By accessing and using the Jacobo Z. Gonzales Memorial School of Arts and Trades (JZGMSAT) Student Information System (SIS), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of the system immediately.

These terms apply to all users, including students, faculty, staff, and administrators who access the JZGMSAT SIS platform.

The JZGMSAT SIS is designed exclusively for educational and administrative purposes, including:

• Managing student enrollment and academic records
• Tracking attendance and academic progress
• Facilitating communication between students, faculty, and administration
• Accessing schedules, grades, and educational resources
• Managing faculty classes and student assessments

Users agree to use the system only for its intended educational purposes and in accordance with school policies.

Account Security: Each user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. You must:

• Keep your username and password secure and confidential
• Not share your account credentials with any other person
• Immediately notify school administration of any unauthorized access
• Log out of your account after each session, especially on shared devices

Account Usage: Users are solely responsible for all activities conducted through their accounts. Any misuse or violation of these terms may result in account suspension or termination.

When using the JZGMSAT SIS, you agree NOT to:

• Access or attempt to access accounts, data, or system areas not authorized for your use
• Interfere with or disrupt the system's operation or security
• Upload, transmit, or distribute viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Engage in any form of harassment, bullying, or inappropriate behavior
• Falsify, alter, or misrepresent information within the system
• Use the system for commercial purposes or unauthorized solicitation
• Copy, reproduce, or distribute system content without authorization
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the system

Users are responsible for ensuring that all information provided to the system is accurate, current, and complete. JZGMSAT reserves the right to verify the accuracy of submitted information and may request additional documentation when necessary.

Students must promptly notify the administration of any changes to personal information, including contact details and emergency contacts.

All content within the JZGMSAT SIS, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and educational materials, is the property of JZGMSAT or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Users may access and use system content solely for personal educational purposes. Any other use, reproduction, or distribution requires prior written permission from JZGMSAT administration.

While JZGMSAT strives to maintain continuous system availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The system may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance and updates
• Technical difficulties or system failures
• Emergency circumstances beyond our control

JZGMSAT is not liable for any inconvenience, loss, or damage resulting from system downtime or unavailability.

JZGMSAT reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes through the system or via official school communication channels. Continued use of the system after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

JZGMSAT reserves the right to suspend or terminate user access to the SIS at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these terms or for any other reason deemed necessary by the administration.

Upon graduation, withdrawal, or employment termination, user accounts may be deactivated, and access to the system will be revoked according to school policy.

JZGMSAT and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Use or inability to use the SIS
• Unauthorized access to user accounts or data
• System errors, bugs, or data loss
• Reliance on information provided through the system
